The Bringing America Home Project

The Bring American Home project provides a hands-on opportunity for children, adults, families, congregations and organizations to help alleviate homelessness in their community. Students/participants decorate their own "house" from a standard craft cardboard gift box, and take the box home. 

During the following months, families contribute their loose change to the house and then either make a donation individually to a homeless organization in their community or bring the box back to their congregation/organization for a communal donation.
